A SUCCESSFUL YEAR OF ODOUR TRAINING

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]2018 has been a great year for our specialist odour training, the Odour Study Day. We heard from expert speakers and met many interesting people, all interested in current odour guidance. Yesterday, 24th October, marked the last course of the year. We welcomed 31 delegates into the Silsoe Odours UKAS-accredited laboratory here in Bedfordshire. Chiefly, they included operators, local authorities, industry bodies and environmental consultants.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

EXPERT ODOUR GUIDANCE

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Delegates received expert odour guidance in a number of areas. Specifically, we delivered insights into odour monitoring, sampling and measurement. We also addressed dispersion modelling, complaints, abatement plant performance, systematic sniff surveys and EPR/IPPC.

Robert Sneath (Silsoe Odours), Steve Peirson (RSK) and Phil Longhurst (Cranfield University) delivered comprehensive odour guidance. They set key issues into context clearly using their extensive experience. After all, they have plenty of it. What’s more, the speakers enhanced the guidance with case studies and personal anecdotes.
