The Silsoe Odours team operate from our independent, UKAS-accredited odour laboratory in Wrest Park, Bedfordshire. Our odour consultants benefit from excellent transport links to both Luton Airport and the M1 motorway, which allows us to provide odour services across the UK and Ireland.

Director Robert Sneath leads our consulting team. Robert is a renowned odour expert with four decades of experience. He founded Silsoe Odours in 2005. Robert was instrumental in the team which developed the European Standard for Olfactometry, EN13725, published in 2022. Our odour consultants benefit from Robert’s wealth of experience and receive first-class training under his leadership. As a result, we offer industry-leading technical expertise, supported by our UKAS accreditations for odour sampling and testing. Our specialist odour laboratory was the UK’s first to achieve UKAS accreditation to ISO17025, and we have held this for nearly two decades. We also participate in regular international laboratory comparisons to verify our compliance with odour requirements.
