The Role
As a Principal Air Quality Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our operations, working closely with our team and clients across various industry sectors including waste and food production. This role involves conducting desk and field-based odour assessments, monitoring, and investigations, as well as preparing detailed reports on your findings. You will be expected to adhere to industry standards, specifically the European Odour Standard BSEN13725:2022 and have an in-depth working knowledge of sampling standards 13725:2022 and 17025:2017. Additionally, you will be responsible for problem-solving both theoretical and practical issues related to air quality and odour.
Candidate Specification
– Strong background in environmental consultancy
– Excellent technical knowledge of air quality assessment techniques
– In-depth working knowledge of relevant industry standards including 17025 & 13725:2022 stationary source emission.
– BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g., environmental engineering or environmental science) or equivalent within relevant subject
– Full UK driving licence.
– Experience in odour consultancy (desirable)
– Practical on-site experience of air quality and/or odour sampling (desirable)
– Excellent communication skills
– MCERTS qualification (desirable)

Project Manager / Laboratory Operator
12 month contract – Wrest Park, Silsoe
There are two main aspects to this role. Firstly, you will work alongside our technical specialists to provide administrative and project support. There will also be a small element of client-facing activity involved within this. Secondly, you will be involved with some laboratory work. Full training is provided.
SENIOR AIR QUALITY CONSULTANT (ODOUR)

We are looking for a candidate with a background in environmental consultancy. You should have strong technical knowledge of air quality and odour assessment techniques, as well as practical experience. Our specialist team will provide on-site training where needed for complex odour monitoring. You should also hold a BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline, such as environmental, engineering or science.
