SMOKE TESTING FOR BUILDINGS

IDENTIFY INVISIBLE ISSUES

During a smoke test, our odour consultants use a non-toxic vapour to fill the building. We then carry out a comprehensive inspection of the building’s structural components. In doing so, we can identify where leaks are occurring. We then provide a complete report highlighting issues and suggest corrective action.

Typically, we complete two smoke tests. This helps us get a complete picture of the situation within your building. For the first test, all standard air extraction and ventilation systems are operational. The second time, they are switched off. We record any evidence of leaks using still images and videos.
