European Standard EN13725:2022 has now published (March 2022)

EN13725:2022 REACHES PUBLICATION

We are pleased to let you know that the revised European Standard for Olfactometry, EN13725:2022, has been published (March 2022). As you may be aware, this is the first significant update of the standard in 19 years. It marks the completion of many years of hard work and dedication from a team of odour experts from across Europe. This includes Silsoe Odours Director, Robert Sneath. Robert has acted as the UK expert for the committee responsible for the standard’s development for more than 25 years.

WHAT IS NEW FOR EN13725:2022?

The new standard includes a range of new improvements. For example, these include:

  • Health and safety recommendations
  • More rigorous odour sampling procedures
  • More thorough methodology
  • Some exclusions
